    The Town of Grafton is accepting applications for the position of Assistant
    Town Planner.  Under the direction of the Town Planner, this position is
    responsible for providing technical support to the Planning
    Board/Department and performs a variety of duties related to current and
    long-range planning and development within the Town.  Assists with: review
    of land use/development applications; updating of various Town development
    regulations and plans; conducting studies and analyses regarding various
    planning and development issues; and, providing technical assistance to
    planning and development-related Town boards and committees.  Familiarity
    with Massachusetts Affordable Housing, Subdivision Control Law, and Zoning
    Act (MGL c.40A) desirable.  Strong oral and written communication skills,
    and experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases is
    required.

    Minimum qualifications: Bachelor?s Degree in Planning, Geography, Public
    Administration or related field, and three years of planning-related
    experience, preferably in municipal government.  A Master?s Degree in one
    of the above fields may be substituted for two years of experience.  Salary
    range:  $34,811 ? $59,179, with benefits, DOQ.

    The City of Peabody is seeking a highly qualified, results driven, strategic thinking individual to fill the full-time position of Director of Community Development and Planning. The Director oversees community development, economic development and planning for the city and is responsible for planning and organizing the implementation of activities and projects for residents and businesses, administering community development activities, and assisting in the implementation of other related programs.
